Missions doctors - Hotel de Ville de Paris, 2006

On December 22nd, 1989, Gérard Rondeau was coming with humanitarian organization Doctors of the world, the first ones to enter Bucarest city after Ceaucescu's fall.
Since then, to Banda Aceh, city destroyed by a tsunami, he undertook to follow French doctors from Niger to Saint Petersburg, from Iraqi Kurdistan to Sarajevo, from New York City (USA Doctors of the world headquarters) to Paris at night. His eye does not only concern humanitarian gesture: he is interested in details, absences, departures. He works in series, sort of lights and ways inventories.
